Changes to our NWC issues Discretionary Licence warranty products

NWC have formalised our refund policy as it applies to our Discretionary Licence warranty products:

Refund Policy

If you have a Warranty Contract with a term of 24 months or more and you decide to cancel your Warranty Contract after the first 24 months, you are entitled to a refund of the Warranty Cost provided no claim has been paid by us in that period and if the vehicle is financed, you have written approval from the financier to cancel the Warranty Contract.

We will pay a refund of the Warranty Cost calculated on a pro rata basis according to the number of unexpired and remaining months of the term less adjustment deduction for our administrative costs. Our administrative costs will be no more than $110.

Service requirements

Customers who hold one of our Discretionary Licence warranty contracts are now able to take advantage of a relaxation of our service requirements for certain types of warranties. NWC have also reduced the service requirements on a number of our Discretionary Licence warranty products. Any product that previously had a service requirement of three months or 5,000 (five thousand) kilometres now enjoys a service requirement of six months and 10,000 (ten thousand) kilometres.
